Dr. Esther Eke assumed the position of Laboratory Director at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital Phenix City Alabama on 23 March 2020. Before joining Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, She served as the CEO of NEER Diagnostic Laboratory LLC during the period of August 2016- February 2020. Dr. Eke started at NEER Diagnostic Laboratory as a Laboratory Director on January 11, 2014, then rose to CEO in 2016. Prior to joining NEER, Dr. Eke held various managerial positions in Tenet Healthcare Now HCA, US Oncology, and Worldwide Clinical Trials Drug Development Company. Dr. Eke Joined Lonestar College System in January 2008 as an Adjunct Faculty until the present. She chaired the Executive board in several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Dr. Eke is a member of the Royal Chamber Foundation for Africa where she is the head of Finance 2021 to present. Among other roles, Dr. Eke is a certified Insurance Agent and Financial Advisor at World Financial Group USA from 2008 to the present. She worked as lead consultant, technical Expert in several projects: Laboratory start-up, Accreditation consultant, Policy formulation, and monetary Investments. Dr. Eke holds a BS, MBA, and Ph.D. in Epidemiology (infection Disease) from Walden University USA. Master in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix USA and BS in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) from University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston Texas (UTMB). Dr. Eke has published a scholarly article publication, Predictor of Mastectomy in Male Breast Cancer 2017.
