Prof. Henry Pienaar holds a Master of Education (Med)degree, Post graduate Diploma in HIV/AIDS Management, and is a Lecturer, Author, Trainer, Developer, an Assessor and Moderation Accreditor. He has championed an Extended Public Work Programme in Kokstad, Kwazulu Natal – Training youth Life Skills, ABET, HIV/AIDS Education, Construction skils DevelopmentHe served the department of Education for many years as Educator and later as Principal. He has been Working as a freelance consultant and mandated fundraiser with various Traditional Leaders and Communities to establish and fund community empowerment and infrastructure projects in rural Eastern Cape, Eswatini, Lesotho and Mozambique. He is also Owner of Adam Kok Independent School, Kokstad. This school was established to provide quality education to and empower children from historically disadvantaged areas. He was HIV/AIDS Prevention and Peer Education Coordinator: Komansie Development and Training Centre sect. 21 REF. 2002/009349/08 association with Singisi Forest Products. He is present Chairperson of Contradev Development Agency, a community-based agency working with rural communities in the Eastern Cape .
